YEJI

Hwang Yeji is a South Korean dancer, singer-songwriter, rapper, and composer under JYP Entertainment. She is best known as the oldest, the leader, one of the main dancers, and the lead vocalist of the girl group ITZY. In 2016, Yeji passed a JYP audition and ended up becoming an official trainee. And as a trainee, she appeared in different shows such as 'The Fan' and 'Stray Kids the Series'. Because of this, she was able to gain attention from the public. On January 20, she was revealed to be one of the members of ITZY. The group officially debuted on February 12, 2019, with the digital single "IT'z Different". Yeji released her first solo song 'Crown on My Head' on 20th December 2023 in the album 'BORN TO BE'.
